New Orleans Marywood University freshman David Haines became the first men's cross country student-athlete in school history to be named to the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Association (USTFCCCA) All-Mideast Region Team, officials announced Monday. Haines was one of seven runners in the region to receive an individual automatic qualifier to the NCAA Division III Championships held on Saturday in Elsah, Ill.
